The Farm Gets Fruity!

Yesterday we finished with the fruit tree planting...and in perfect harmony with nature are sitting through our first of two-in-a-row rainy days.

Seven trees total went in the ground: 2 Peaches down by the chicken coop, 2 Apples at the entry way to the property, 2 plums by the woodshed and one Pear by the fort where one Pear already lived.

Not sure exactly how old the trees are but based on the height and compared with height of our other trees we are guessing the trees to be around 5-6 years old.  If that is true it should be another 3-4 years before we see fruit.

Can't wait to taste the fruit of our labors!
